We could stay here, stay out all night...no one will know but us and the moonlight

It's been a crazy first week plus back here in New York. lots of partying, lots of recovering, lots of fun. So far I've gone to an opening night cast party with free booze and rosario dawson and taye diggs...seen the show, been to two yankee games, parties, vma's, r. kelly, MT and much much more. Yet as much fun as I'm having I'm still having a hard time adjusting to the new surroundings. I mean, the freshman year group, as distant as I became from it, is out of the country for the most part, and one of last year's closest friends and confidants is taking a semester off. So basically, though I love having marty as a roomate and I love trecking up to union sq to meet up w/ the music business kids, it's still gonna take some getting used to. I feel lacking confidence again because of it all though. I feel like i'm at my most confident when I'm comfortable w/ my surroundings. it's gonna take a while. I'm sure it'll come once I get back into the swing of things with classes and work and all. Mass Transit's performing tomorrow at around 6ish, probably the last ever performance of such great heights...catch it if you can. Other than that, its time to get ready and get set. The semester begins tuesday, and hopefully I can pick up right where I left off last spring...socially at least. I think it's gonna be a good year...with some tests along the way. all I can do is my best. I'll keep you posted how it works out.
